Web development and AI software for UK businesses

An engineering team that overlaps most of your working day, costs a fraction of a London day rate, and leaves you owning everything that gets built.

There is a particular kind of British small business that is very good at what it does and running on software that nobody would choose today. An accounts package bought in 2011. A spreadsheet that one person understands. A booking system the supplier stopped updating. It works, roughly, and replacing it has sat on the list for four years because the quotes that came back were frightening.

That gap is the whole reason we exist. A London agency has a London cost base, and that cost base turns up in the day rate whether the work needs it or not. We do the same engineering without it. The saving is real, and it is not coming out of the quality, it is coming out of the office rent.

Working with us from UK

Why UK businesses work with us

Most of your day, not the night shift

India is five and a half hours ahead of London, four and a half when you are on British Summer Time. Your nine o'clock is our half past two. That means a real afternoon of overlap every single day, not a handover note left overnight.

No employment overhead

No recruitment fee, no National Insurance, no pension contribution, no notice period, no desk. You get engineering capacity for the months you need it and you stop when the project stops.

Your code, your repository

Everything goes into a repository you own from the first commit, with documentation written as we go. Walking away from us should cost you nothing, and if it ever does, we built it wrong.

UK GDPR taken seriously

Your data can be hosted in a UK or EU region, we tell you in writing which services touch it, and we build to what your own advisers require rather than telling you what the law says.

Industries

The UK businesses we are built for

Professional services

Accountancy practices, law firms, recruitment and consultancies, where chargeable hours quietly disappear into chasing documents and retyping client data.

Logistics and freight

Freight forwarders and hauliers handling paperwork in a dozen formats, where every booking gets keyed in twice and the margin lives in the admin.

E-commerce and D2C

Brands outgrowing their platform, stuck between a theme that cannot do what they need and a replatform nobody wants to pay for.

Manufacturing and trade

Engineering firms and distributors running production on spreadsheets beside a system that was never quite finished.

We work with businesses in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Bristol and across the UK.

How the distance is handled

Across the gap, in practice

Calls land in your afternoon, which is our evening, and we do not ask you to take them at seven in the morning. The working week is the same Monday to Friday, so there is no lost day at either end.

You get a written update on the same day every week whether there is good news in it or not, access to the board where the work actually sits, and one person who answers you rather than a rotating account manager.

How we start

Small first, so being wrong is cheap

Nobody should hand a large project to a team they have never worked with on the strength of a proposal document.

01

A conversation about the problem

Not about technology. What the job is, who does it today, how long it takes and what it costs when it goes wrong.

02

A written scope and a fixed price

What is included, what is not, what it costs and when it finishes. In writing before anything starts.

03

One small piece, built

Four to eight weeks of real work you can use, not a prototype. You see the code, the pace and how we behave when something goes wrong.

04

Then decide about the rest

With working software in front of you instead of a slide deck. If we are not the right team, you found out cheaply and you keep what was built.

Questions

What businesses in UK ask us

Do you have a UK company?

No. We contract directly from India, and most of our clients prefer that because it is simpler and cheaper. If your procurement needs a UK entity on the paperwork, tell us at the start so we can work out whether that is possible before anybody wastes time.

How does VAT work on your invoices?

We invoice in GBP and we do not charge UK VAT. For a UK business buying services from overseas your accountant handles it the usual way, and we will give them whatever documentation they ask for.

Who owns the code and the designs?

You do, completely, from the first commit. It sits in your repository under your account. We do not hold licences over your own software and we do not resell what we built for you.

What if we have been let down by an offshore team before?

Most people have, and it is usually the same story: no visibility, a demo that worked and a codebase that did not. Start us on something small enough that being wrong is cheap. Look at the commits, not the slides.

Can you take over a system somebody else built?

Often yes. We would start with a paid review of what is actually there and give you an honest answer about whether it is worth keeping. Sometimes the honest answer is that it is not, and we will tell you that even though a rebuild suits us better.

Will we be talking to the people writing the code?

Yes. There is no account layer in between. The person on your call is the person in your repository.

No obligation, no sales sequence

Tell us what is not working

Describe the process that is costing you the most time. We will tell you what we would build, roughly what it would cost and whether it is worth doing at all. If it is not, we will say so.
